I’m a mum, a qualified pharmacist, nutritionist, diabetes educator and health & wellness coach. I get that as busy women we all have lives that leave us no time to ourselves, so we tend to put our own needs last. This leads us to make lifestyle decisions that put our health at risk of developing type 2 diabetes. I collaborate with women at risk of developing prediabetes or living with type 2 diabetes. I help them understand their condition, bridging the gap of knowledge and empowering them to take control of their health and life to make positive and constructive change. Often healthcare dictates an outcome to the client, eg. like eating healthy, with no real road map on how to achieve these outcomes. Through my work as a health & wellness coach, we begin the journey of building a positive and trusting relationship by understanding the client, their circumstance and what they would like to achieve with their health. Together, we take the time to understand what the client truly wants, and what might be stopping them, and set about actively creating a healthier and happier life.
