I’m a coaching psychologist, exercise scientist and private practitioner with over 20 years’ experience.
My area of expertise is positive ageing, with a particular interest in the behaviour change challenges people face when returning to exercise in mid-life, or after periods of relative inactivity.
Whilst I’ve extensive experience as an educator and researcher, my approach with clients is very pragmatic, person-centred, and focused on developing health goals and plans supported by a strong sense of personal ownership.
In 2022, I captured my approach to sustainable active living in two (non-academic) books: Get Moving Keep Moving and 26 Ways to Keep Moving.
