A Passion for Changing the Leadership Landscape

I believe Wellbeing isn’t a ‘nice-to-have’, it’s the foundation of how we live, work, and lead. Yet, today’s workplaces tell a different story. Leaders and teams are stretched thin, workloads keep growing, and the pressure to perform is relentless. Burnout has become an epidemic:

  • 38% of workers experience burnout  (PSC NSW, 2024).
  • 90% of Australian employees say burnout is ignored until it becomes a crisis (news.com.au, 2024).
  • 76% say work stress affects their sleep, and 54% say it impacts their home life daily (AdelaideNow, 2024).
  • 47% of Australian workers feel mentally or physically exhausted at the end of the working day. (Small Business Connections, PRWire, 2025).

These aren’t just statistics. These are leaders, professionals, business owners feeling the weight of workplace stress daily. Leadership isn’t just about driving performance, it’s about creating an environment where people can thrive.

That’s why I founded Wellbeing by Design Australia (formerly Revive & Thrive) to help leaders and organisations embed mental fitness, resilience, and wellbeing into their culture, not as an afterthought, but as a strategic advantage. My work isn’t about quick-fix wellness trends, it’s about deep, sustainable change that transforms systems, structures, and mindsets to support long-term success.

The Work That Led to This Award

Winning HCANZA’s Health & Wellness Coach of the Year is an honour, but more than anything, it validates that workplace wellbeing isn’t optional—it’s essential.

My approach focuses on collaboration and co-design, partnering with businesses, government agencies, and industry leaders to develop innovative and systemic solutions. Sustainable change, whether at the organisational, team, or individual level, requires identifying patterns, reshaping workplace structures, and challenging outdated mental models. Only by addressing these deeper layers can we disrupt the burnout cycle and build high-performing, resilient teams.

Embedding Mental Fitness & Transforming Leadership with Positive Intelligence (PQ)

To create real change, leaders must build mental resilience and rewire their thinking patterns. One of the most powerful tools I use is the Positive Intelligence (PQ) a framework which helps individuals identify and challenge self-sabotaging mental models.
Through this process, I support my clients in:
✔ Reframing perspectives and shifting from self-sabotage to self-command.
✔ Strengthening mental fitness to create lasting, positive change.
✔ Embedding resilience into leadership and organisational practices.

This approach is particularly effective in high-pressure environments, where leaders often face burnout, decision fatigue, and emotional exhaustion. By integrating PQ coaching, they develop the clarity, confidence, and resilience to navigate uncertainty, enabling them to foster engaged teams, and lead with impact.

The Results Speak for Themselves:
70% of leaders report improved stress management.
85% of teams see stronger trust and collaboration.
Significant reductions in workplace burnout and disengagement.

As one of my clients, Janine, a Nursing Director, shared:

“Understanding how destructive my inner Judge was in all aspects of my life was an unexpected but life-changing benefit. My world has totally transformed. I have a newfound passion for my work and confidence that I can perform. I’m sleeping through the night, eating well, and finally understand how important self-care is. The journey has been fascinating, and the destination is breathtakingly beautiful.”

This work includes:
Strategic policy co-design – Partnering with Sage Women’s Health to develop menopause-friendly workplace policies and initiatives.
Financial wellbeing initiatives – Leading place-based strategies through the Financial Inclusion Action Plan (FIAP).
Industry advocacy & education – Elevating workplace wellbeing standards through research, speaking engagements, and leadership coaching.

Creating Thriving Leaders & Organisations

My work extends beyond one-on-one coaching, I partner with organisations to embed wellbeing strategies into their leadership, policies, and operations. This means:
Reducing burnout & attrition with structured mental fitness programs.
Improving team cohesion & resilience, creating stronger collaboration.
Enhancing strategic thinking & decision-making, minimising stress-related inefficiencies.
Empowering leaders to champion workplace wellbeing and create a ripple effect of positive change.

The Future of Workplace Wellbeing

Winning this award is not the final destination, it’s a launchpad. I am committed to:
✔ Expanding access to wellbeing coaching for leaders and organisations.
✔ Expanding financial wellbeing initiatives to support economic security in workplaces.
✔ Embedding mental wellbeing strategies to foster resilience and leadership capacity.
✔ Driving systemic change, ensuring wellbeing is recognised as a critical business investment.

The workplace is evolving, and organisations that prioritise wellbeing will be the ones that thrive.

Are you ready to create a thriving workplace where wellbeing and leadership go hand in hand? Let’s start the conversation. Whether you’re a leader, an organisation, or an industry professional looking to drive meaningful change, let’s work together to integrate sustainable wellbeing strategies into leadership.
